Explore the California Lighthouse, a landmark build in the early 1900s which was named after a steamship sunk off the nearby coast. Explore the Alto Vista Chapel, a Catholic church overlooking the island’s north shore. If you’re looking for a natural landmark, head to the Natural Bridge, a natural rock formation spanning the ocean. The Natural Bridge was destroyed in 2005, but it remains a significant landmark. If you’re looking for a colorful experience, visit the Aruba Butterfly Farm to see them up close in their natural habitat.     This thrilling underwater exploration adventure allows visitors to discover the colorful marine life of the Caribbean sea, without getting wet. The tour takes place a submarine which can descend up to 130 feet, providing an up-close look at the underwater world in the Caribbean. The submarine is air conditioned, comfortable, and has large viewing windows for visitors to see. Upon descent, visitors can see the varieties of marine life such as colorful fish, coral, and even shipwrecks. The submarine is equipped with powerful lights, making it easier to see the underwater life. You will also see the Antilla shipwreck, one of the largest in the Caribbean. The Antilla sank during World War II, but the colorful marine life has made it their home.

    The Atlantis Submarines Expedition Tour begins at the Adventure Center in downtown Oranjestad where you will need to take a transfer to the submarine onboard our shuttle vessel SubSeeker.

    In existence since 1925, Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) is a full service airport for Aruba. Queen Beatrix International Airport was voted one of the 4th best airport approaches in the world.
  • U.S. Passport

    Immigration & Customs

    When you arrive, exit through the terminal with documents in hand. Proceed to the immigration desk, where an official will verify your identity and stamp your passport. Upon leaving Aruba, US travelers will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs so allow an extra 1 hour for check-in at peak times. Travelers must have a valid passport, a valid return ticket, and have completely filled out and signed the Embarkation and Disembarkation card (ED-card). The departure tax for Aruba is $36.75 for the USA and $33.50 for all other departure destinations.
